Ulendo Technologies

Seed Round in 2022
Ulendo provides software to improve the speed and accuracy of advanced manufacturing machines such as 3D printers and robots. The company's first product, Ulendo VC (vibration compensation), doubles the speed of extrusion-based 3D printers without sacrificing quality. Using its patented algorithm, Ulendo enhances a printer's firmware to anticipate vibration and change the tool path in order to avoid the quality issues that result from vibration. The company is also applying a similar vibration compensation approach to address vibration in industrial thereby enabling them to operate at faster speeds and with heavier payloads. This product, Ulendo VC-R, will be launched in 2025. The company recently launched Ulendo Calibration-as-a-ServiceTM, a hosted subscription-based software platform that calibrates an extrusion-based printer within seconds, thereby avoiding the current time-consuming practice of printing and measuring parts to determine the appropriate printing parameters. The company's third product, Ulendo HC (heat compensation), uses a patent-pending algorithm to optimize the laser path of a metal laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) printer to significantly reduce deformation and stress in the printed part.
