Lessoncast

Seed Round in 2016
Lessoncast transforms how teachers get better at what they do in the classroom. We sell to K12 schools / districts who are responding to new market pressures to improve how they spend $8b annually in teacher professional development. Our chief purchasers are educators who are responsible for leading learning experiences for other teachers. That list of educators includes principals, school district administrators, consultants, and education course professors. What makes the Lessoncast platform-as-a-service different is that we focus on the needs of the teacher as well as needs of that teacher’s coach. Our go-to-market strategy is to build relationships with these teacher coaches and equip them with custom tools and resources, so that they in effect become our sales force throughout their schools and district. Thus far, we've been bootstrapped and received non-diluted funding. Last quarter, we generated $32K in revenue, but with this seed investment we can dramatically increase sales.
