The firm also supports cooperatives, including worker-owned and housing cooperatives, and network cooperatives, financing development, acquisitions, expansions, and succession plans. It primarily invests in Quebec and surrounding regions, and can finance growth, acquisitions, management buyouts, and modernization. Investments may be equity or debt, including unsecured loans, with instruments ranging from senior debt to equity, and tenures typically five to eight years for equity and three to five years for debt. The firm often takes minority stakes with board participation. It does not invest in natural resource exploration or financial services.
