Berkeley SkyDeck is an accelerator located in Berkeley, California, dedicated to supporting startups founded by UC Berkeley students, alumni, and faculty. Established in 2012, it offers a six-month Cohort Program where selected companies can receive up to $100,000 in funding, disbursed in two tranches. The program is industry-agnostic and includes a Global Innovative Partner Program and a HotDesk incubator accommodating approximately 120 startups annually. As a joint initiative of UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering, Haas School of Business, and the Vice-Chancellor for Research Office, Berkeley SkyDeck aims to foster entrepreneurial excellence by providing access to a robust network of advisors, investors, workshops, and resources to its participating teams.
