Indiana Wesleyan University is a Christian comprehensive university of The Wesleyan Church. The University was founded in 1920 as Marion College and is committed to liberal arts and professional education. Indiana Wesleyan is the largest member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, the largest private college in Indiana, based on enrollment, and is one of the largest employers in Grant County. Nearly 3,000 students are enrolled in traditional programs on the University’s 350-acre residential campus in Marion. Most buildings on the Marion campus have been built in the past 25 years, so students live and learn in a visually striking environment with well-appointed residence halls and academic facilities, all on a campus that is only an hour away from both Fort Wayne and Indianapolis. IWU offers more than 80 undergraduate degrees, 38 graduate degrees and 5 doctorate degrees and students represent more than 80 Christian denominations and 10 foreign countries.

Located in Louisville, one of the nation’s most vibrant small cities, Bellarmine’s campus is also a center of rich academic, social and cultural activity. Over 70 student organizations give students the opportunity to perform with music ensembles, work at the campus radio station, go bowling, discuss art, perform in plays and meet others with similar career interests. Academics at Bellarmine are, however, the most outstanding part of the Bellarmine experience. Small class sizes aren’t the only great feature of Bellarmine’s educational life. Bellarmine’s commitment to rigor and excellence also makes for an intense learning experience with expert faculty. Majors at Bellarmine are also highly diverse. Admissions criteria differ depending on one’s degree-level and area of study. In addition federal financial aid offerings for eligible students, Bellarmine encourages students to seek out private scholarships and also offers tuition payment plans.

With more than 120 years of history behind it Ouachita Baptist University has established itself as one of Arkansas’ older private universities. Located near some of Arkansas’ most scenic spots in Arkadelphia, Ouachita also offers a naturally beautiful location in which to get a spiritual and academic education. A bachelor’s degree granting school, Ouachita Baptist awards degrees across many disciplines. Financial aid is awarded through three sources to students who meet financial eligibility and other requirements. There is federal aid. which includes Pell grants and loans, state grants and private funding sources. Those interested in federal aid will need to fill out a FAFSA, the application for federal aid.
