As of 6/17/09, renkoo.com is down and the company closed its doors. Renkoo created applications for social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. In 2009, Renkoo was developing a social application based on the principle that [everyone can serve](http://renkoo.wordpress.com/2009/01/09/everybody-can-serve/), working with many good people, including [ServiceNation](http://servicenation.org/), [AmeriCorps](http://cns.gov/), and the Obama team's new [USA Service dot org](http://www.USAservice.org/content/home/). In 2007 and 2008, Renkoo released popular applications such as [Haikoo Zoo](http://apps.facebook.com/haikoo-zoo/), [Car Show](http://carshow.renkoo.com/myspace/), and [Booze Mail](http://apps.facebook.com/booze-mail/), that collectively have been used by more than 36 million people over half a billion times. Renkoo started out in 2005 and 2006 building Renkoo Social Planner, an event planning service that aims to allow users to connect to their friends via email, SMS, or IM.
