IQ Capital Partners is a Cambridge- and London-based venture capital firm that backs early-stage technology companies in the UK, with a focus on deep tech, AI and machine learning, IoT, cybersecurity, SaaS and PaaS, data analytics, life sciences and other technology driven sectors. It typically invests between £0.3 million and £5 million upfront, with follow-on capacity up to about £30 million per company, and supports rounds with equity, debt and convertible instruments. The firm generally does not lead rounds, instead co-investing with angel investors from networks such as the Great Eastern Investment Forum, and it often seeks to appoint a board member at portfolio companies.
