The college was founded in Oldenburg in 1936 and moved to Indianapolis in 1937. On July 1, 2009, Marian College became Marian University. On October 19, 2012 the university will celebrate its 75th anniversary in Indianapolis. Daniel Elsener became the eighth president of Marian College, now Marian University, on August 1, 2001. President Elsener has dedicated his professional life to the mission of Catholic education. As a result of his energetic and visionary leadership the university has experienced great success recruiting students and raising money to advance the mission of the university.

Eleven Fifty Academy is a nonprofit organization based in Fishers, Indiana, dedicated to providing immersive technology education aimed at bridging the tech talent gap in the region. The academy offers a range of training programs in various programming languages, including iOS, Android, Java, .Net, JavaScript, Ruby, and Python, catering to individuals with no prior experience as well as those seeking to enhance specific skills. In addition to core programming courses, Eleven Fifty Academy provides specialty training in areas such as cybersecurity, big data, and AI workshops, along with certification programs and bootcamps.
