Over time their games are iterated, moulded and sculpted from the feedback of their players, they use their player data to assist creativity, not replace it. They always strive to improve and are incredibly tough on theirselves about meeting their values, they encourage constant team learning as a vital part of the way they make better games, you're expected to share with your team the good and the bad days and they empower their teams to solve problems, you manage your own time.
