Chamate opened their first restaurant in 2002 in Shanghai and later expanded to Beijing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Wuxi, Yiwu, Changzhou, Wuhan and Tianjin. As of August 2011, there are about 100 stores in all major Cities across China.
