Enterprise Equity

Enterprise Equity (or EEVC) has an excellent reputation for providing capital to early stage and expanding business throughout Ireland. With the advantage of having a strong regional presence in Cork, Galway and Dundalk – in addition to Dublin – they have been successfully investing in internationally focused Irish companies for over 25 years, making us the longest established venture capital firm in Ireland. Each of the general partners of the firm has successful commercial investing experience in their own right as well as investing on behalf of EEVC. Their success to date is achieved through investment of capital in well managed, genuinely innovative and growth orientated businesses across a wide range of sectors, focused across the software sector and high technology manufacturing, particularly in the medical device industry. With three funds under management, Enterprise Equity has invested in excess of €50m in over 80 companies throughout Ireland, with many of their founders/companies based in or significantly operating from North America and other locations. In addition, the Enterprise Equity managed AIB Seed Capital Fund is actively investing in founders/companies at the seed or early stage, and the Fund has an overall committed fund size of €53m. EEVC will invest €0.25m to €1.5m per business from this fund. They are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland under the MiFID Regulations (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive of the European Community).
