Computer Science for All (CS4All) is a 10-year initiative designed to provide a meaningful, high-quality computer science education to public school students in the NYC school system at each school level—elementary, middle and high school. Early intervention is key. The visual strategies are derived from the federally-funded Comprehensive School Mathematics Program. MathBRIX testing with over 500 students confirms high student engagement, feasibility, promise of learning. A larger test is underway in 34 districts nation-wide. In 2018, pre-school and parent education components will be developed with the Parents as Teachers National Center.
