Citibank

Citibank is a global consumer bank offering a range of banking and financial services as part of Citigroup Inc. Founded in 1812 as the City Bank of New York, it has evolved into a diversified financial services company providing credit cards, insurance, and investment products. Renamed Citibank in 1976, the bank weathered the 2008 financial crisis with a government bailout, ultimately recovering and earning the Global Bank of the Year title in 2013.
