Namibia Critical Metals is a Canadian company focused on the exploration and development of critical metal properties in Namibia. The firm is engaged in the acquisition and evaluation of various mineral resources, including heavy rare earths, cobalt, copper, lithium, tantalum, niobium, nickel, lead, zinc, vanadium, gold, and platinum group elements. Its principal asset is the Lofdal Rare Earths Project, which is located approximately 450 kilometers northwest of Windhoek. In total, the company holds a portfolio of seven projects encompassing 16 exclusive prospecting licenses, covering an area of around 6,200 square kilometers. The Lofdal project is particularly notable for its significant deposits of dysprosium and terbium, essential elements for various advanced technologies. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Halifax, Canada, Namibia Critical Metals was formerly known as Namibia Rare Earths Inc. and rebranded in May 2018.
