The startup has experienced record growth thanks to its modus operandi: to serve as logistic support to the usual supermarkets, with which the consumer has full confidence in the origin of the products purchased; In addition to its commitment to deliver with the customer with periods of one hour.
The procedure stands out for its simplicity and personalization of the service. Through its website, the user can select any of the products of El Corte Inglés, Día, Mercadona, Lidl or Carrefour. Once the purchase is made, the algorithms created by DelSuper and the geolocation act according to the information of the user, which passes to the figure of the SuperComprador. In 90% of the cases they are housewives, cooks and former Supermarket workers, so the quality of the selected products will be maximum.
These Super Buyers personally select each product and maintain direct contact with the customer. In case they consider that the product does not have an optimal quality (such as fresh fish), they will call or send a whatsapp to the customer to assess between the two if it is worth buying the product or replacing it with another similar one. In addition, the platform allows that in case the customer has forgotten to add any other product, they can contact their Super Buyer to add it. For this personalized attention, the purchase is not charged in full at the time of ordering it on the page, but a part of it is charged and the payment is completed once the order is completed.
DelSuper has had the support of accelerators such as Telefonica open future and Wayra, and has earned the trust of experienced investors such as Felix Ruiz Hernandez or Gustavo Garcia Brusilovsky, among others. Think of it like AWS or Parse.com specifically for IoT. thethings.iO frees up hardware companies to focus on what they do best: build awesome new things.
We do this in three simple ways:
1) Back-end: You can deploy a fully-scalable real-time storage solution within hours for a fraction of the cost.
2) Front-end: We integrate things from multiple sources in one intuitive web interface or mobile app.
3) Interoperability: This lets you easily connect to other IoTs to build more innovative apps. Because when things talk with each other, their functionality augments, and you get more.

thethings.iO
Convertible Note in 2014
Creating new IoT devices is hard work. Companies have to design, prototype, and manufacture the thing, plus build the app and develop the cloud platform to store the data, all from scratch.
thethings.iO makes a back-end for Internet of Things. It allows companies to focus more on the product and less on the database and the underlying cloud platform.
