Prolira BV is a medical technology company based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, founded in 2015. It specializes in developing DeltaScan, an innovative EEG-based medical device designed for the early detection of delirium, a form of acute brain failure. The DeltaScan system comprises a single-use electrode patch known as the DeltaScan Patch and a hardware/software module called the DeltaScan Monitor, which analyzes brain activity to support clinical decision-making. Prolira is dedicated to enabling timely and effective treatment for acute encephalopathy and delirium, conditions that affect approximately 20 million patients annually in hospitals across the European Union and the United States.
