Quanta Services provides specialty contracting and infrastructure services for electric power, gas, pipeline, and broader energy projects in the United States, Canada, Australia, and other regions. Through its electric power infrastructure and underground utility and infrastructure segments, it designs, installs, upgrades, repairs, and maintains electric power transmission and distribution networks, substations, and related smart grid technologies; performs engineering, procurement, and construction for electrical facilities; and supports solar, wind, and natural gas generation facilities and associated switchyards and transmission lines. It also offers pipeline and industrial infrastructure services, including pipeline transmission and gathering systems, storage facilities, and related trenching, drilling, welding, and fabrication; as well as fueling, water, and sewer infrastructure, pipeline protection, integrity testing, and rehabilitation. The firm provides emergency restoration services and high-priority turnaround projects and serves electric power, energy, and communications customers along with commercial, industrial, and governmental entities. Quanta operates primarily in the United States, Canada, and Australia and is headquartered in Houston.
