It focuses on investing in Latin American startups, particularly in fintech, insurtech, and blockchain sectors, as well as global startups with Latin American tech teams targeting the U.S. market. Magma Partners has offices in California, Colombia, Mexico, and China, and has invested in 38 companies across nine Latin American countries and the U.S. since its inception. The firm manages Magma Fund II, a $15M fund, and also runs the Sino-Latin American accelerator program to facilitate business between China and Latin America.
