London Co-Investment Fund
The London Co-Investment Fund (LCIF), established in 2014, is a venture capital initiative aimed at enhancing funding opportunities for London-based technology startups. Launched by the Deputy Mayor of London, LCIF's primary objective is to facilitate significant investments for tech companies that are already capable of attracting funding, thereby providing them with the necessary resources to validate their business models. The fund collaborates with six co-investment partners recognized for their strong track records in supporting early-stage tech ventures. While LCIF focuses on various sectors, including artificial intelligence, fintech, and cleantech, it is currently not making new investments. This strategic approach aims to strengthen the London tech ecosystem, enabling startups to secure subsequent funding rounds and contribute to the city's reputation as a hub for innovation.
