Commonwealth LNG is a project development company based in Houston, Texas, focused on large-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) export. The company is developing an 8.4 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) export facility located on the west bank of the Calcasieu Ship Channel near Cameron, Louisiana. This facility will feature six modular liquefaction trains, each with a capacity of 1.4 mtpa, and six modular storage tanks capable of holding 40,000 cubic meters of LNG. Additionally, it is designed to accommodate vessels up to 216,000 cubic meters. Commercial operations are anticipated to commence in the first quarter of 2024.
