KfW, established in 1948, is a state-owned investment and development bank based in Frankfurt, Germany. As the promotional bank of the Federal Republic of Germany, it operates through several segments, offering a wide range of financing and investment services. KfW supports small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurship, housing, infrastructure, education, and export finance, both domestically and internationally. It also promotes sustainable development and provides funding for projects that enhance economic, social, and ecological conditions.
