Jaan Pakistan is an award-winning social startup based in Lahore, founded in June 2014 and incorporated as a private limited company in September 2015. The organization focuses on researching and manufacturing affordable energy solutions aimed at low-income communities throughout Pakistan. Jaan Pakistan specializes in renewable energy technologies, particularly cookstove innovations that include solar cookstoves, saber stoves, and firewood cookstoves. These products enable access to various solar thermal solutions, such as solar cookers and solar water heaters, thereby addressing the energy needs of off-grid communities. The initiative has gained recognition and support, including mentorship from Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus.
