As of December 10, 2009, Claimar Care Group Plc was acquired by Housing 21 Ltd. Claimar Care Group Plc, along with its subsidiary, SureCare, provides nursing and care services to individuals living in their own homes. It offers personal care services, such as assistance with washing, shaving, oral care, dressing, toileting, continence care, feeding, medication, and getting up and going to bed, as well as electronic monitoring and associated products, which assist users and providers. The company’s services also include making and changing beds; emptying commodes; shopping for service users; paying service user's bills; collecting service user's pensions; assistance with service user's laundry; preparing service user's meals; vacuum cleaning; and domestic tasks, such as washing dishes, dusting, and cleaning of toilets and bathrooms. It serves social services departments and private individuals; elderly mentally infirm; people with learning and physical disabilities; children with learning disabilities; older people in supported living schemes; and people with learning difficulties in supported living schemes. Claimar Care Group Plc was formerly known as Hamsard 2847 Plc and changed its name to Claimar Care Group Plc in June 2005.
