Initially launched as a web payment service, Qpass became known for its innovative approach to e-commerce by allowing merchants to share a full system that appeared integrated with their own sites. In 2004, Qpass expanded its capabilities by acquiring Altamedius, a European payment provider, enhancing its offerings for mobile commerce clients. In 2006, Qpass was acquired by Amdocs Ltd., enabling it to further develop its platform for managing digital goods and services across mobile, VoIP, and Wi-Fi networks.
