GameFounders invests up to $30,000 and typically takes a 9% equity stake in participating companies. Its three-month program accepts around ten studios at a time, requiring selected teams to relocate for the duration of the accelerator. In 2015, GameFounders expanded its operations by opening a hub in Malaysia to reach the Asian market.
