Versant Power is a regulated electric utility based in Bangor, Maine, providing electric delivery services to approximately 159,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers across an area of 10,400 square miles in eastern and northern Maine. The company was established following the merger of Bangor Hydro-Electric Company and Maine Public Service in January 2014, and it was previously known as Emera Maine before rebranding in May 2020. Versant Power operates as a subsidiary of ENMAX Corporation, focusing on the transmission and distribution of electricity, including the maintenance of the electricity grid, poles, wires, substations, and meters to ensure reliable power delivery and restoration services.
