Securaxis is the first incubated of BIC of CERN Technologies Switzerland since 2018, laureate of the Entreprendre Network 2017, Generation Entrepreneur 2017, invited to MassChallenge 2017, and finalist of the Swisscom Start up Challenge 2017. We have also recently become part of HP Enterprise Startup Incubator and NVIDIA Inception Program. Securaxis is formed by a team of 8 experts in Machine Learning, Acoustics, Data Management and Entrepreneurship. AirVentions develops technology that offers practical, cost saving solutions for the transportation and aviation industries. Their lead products focus on collision avoidance systems for airport support equipment. They address problems that cause damage to aircraft which oftentimes lead to delays, cancellations and other costly inefficiencies. While training for a ramp agent position, Spencer Irvine learned about the costly nature of seemingly avoidable collisions that occur on the airport ramp between parked aircraft and ground support vehicles. Observing that the industry had very little technological innovation in this area, he then designed a collision avoidance system and AirVentions Inc.
