MassChallenge provides expert mentorship, a tailored curriculum, and access to corporate partners without taking any equity from the startups. Its programs, including specialized initiatives like MassChallenge FinTech and MassChallenge HealthTech, aim to facilitate partnerships between startups and established companies to drive innovation and growth. To date, MassChallenge has helped over 1,200 alumni raise more than $2 billion in funding and create over 65,000 jobs, demonstrating its significant impact on the global innovation ecosystem.
Roots Studio, Inc. specializes in offering art prints from traditional artists in rural regions of India, Indonesia, Syria, and Jordan. Founded in 2015 and based in Fountain Hills, Arizona, the company focuses on curating, digitizing, and marketing the creative works of these artists, enabling them to reach a broader audience. By establishing digitization centers in rural villages, Roots Studio facilitates the global distribution of the artists' creations, allowing them to sell their artwork multiple times and receive payments instantly through mobile money. The company aims to bridge the gap between traditional artistry and the modern art and design market, which is valued at approximately $32 billion. Formerly known as TOTO Express, the company rebranded to Roots Studio, Inc. in January 2017.
