Energy Transfer is a Texas-based company established in 1995, initially focused on intrastate natural gas pipeline operations. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the largest and most diversified master limited partnerships in the United States, expanding its pipeline network from approximately 200 miles in 2002 to around 56,000 miles today. The company owns a comprehensive platform of assets that includes crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids, primarily concentrated in Texas and the U.S. midcontinent region. Energy Transfer also operates gathering and processing facilities, features one of the largest fractionation facilities in the country, and manages fuel distribution operations. Additionally, the company owns the Lake Charles gas liquefaction facility, enhancing its capabilities in the energy sector.
