NOUS Energy is a foodtech startup working on developing a new era of ingredients for Food&Beverage and Nutraceutical Market. Our first product is Koncentra, a caffeine alternative that enhances cognitive and physical performance, improving memory, concentration and reflexes without causing the typical adverse effects of caffeine such as blood pressure spikes or tachycardia, while also improving gastrointestinal well-being. A recent functional study demonstrated the effectiveness of Koncentra on cognitive function, showing benefits even superior to caffeine. We are firm believers in the link between human health and the environment’s health. With Koncentra, we estimate -60% of water waste, -80% of CO2 emissions, at full production compared to caffeine extraction from green coffee beans. Being fully committed to sustainable innovation and plan to fully upcycle all waste from Koncentra's production by 2028, creating new ingredients and products to expand our portfolio.
