StartupYard
StartupYard is an accelerator based in Prague, Czech Republic, established in 2011 as the oldest private accelerator in the Central and Eastern European region. It specializes in incubating and investing in technology startups focused on deep tech sectors such as artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity, e-health, and the Internet of Things. StartupYard provides a structured three-month program, typically investing between €0.03 million and €0.25 million in cohorts of seven to ten companies twice a year. The accelerator does not invest in single-founder teams and has a track record of helping startups grow and secure additional funding, with over 40 alumni raising more than 40 million euros in total. Since its inception, StartupYard has accelerated 12 cohorts comprising 82 startups, with nine companies successfully acquired.
